I wasn't quite sure how they were going to resurrect "Jurassic World" after twenty-two years. I was actually surprised that Stephen Spielberg would even try to bring anything "Jurassic" back to the big screen. I was a big fan of the original 1993 "Jurassic Park" having a young son who was a huge dinosaur aficionado. It was very popular in our household. I wasn't as impressed with "The Lost World: Jurassic Park" (1997) and "Jurassic Park III" (2001). They were still fun but not as exciting as the original which brings us to the here and now... 2015 "Jurassic World", it was not only bigger, but better! Certainly more excitement and great special effects that were incredibly realistic.
The storyline was strong and interesting too.
Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) is the Jurassic World Park operations manager and Aunt to Zach (Nick Robinson) and Gray (Ty Simpkins). Kind of an unusual and very business oriented woman, I felt like she was the weakest link in the movie.
Owen (Chris Pratt) was easily the star of the movie, a strong and very likeable character. Definitely the hero of the movie.
At "Jurassic World" Park, the Park owners found if they brought out a new idea or product they could
significantly increase their revenues. They decided to interbreed two different types of dinosaurs for a brand new species to bring in more people and build new interest in the park.
What they did not realize is what they created was not only unique and one of a kind but also
a "nightmare and a monster" all in one! They combined a T-Rex and a Raptor together that liked to kill not just for food, but for sport!! It was a deadly combination which wreaked havoc in the park! The  animals had also mutated to the point of being able to communicate with one another and in certain circumstances, with humans!!!
This is a movie that will easily keep you on the edge of your seat and very entertained.
I enjoyed this movie alot and found it fun and exciting.
Parents be advised: This is definitely rated PG-13. It is a pulse-pounding drama that might be too intense for some children. The dinosaurs are very realistic and life-like. I would not recommend it for children who are sensitive to monsters and animal violence. I would not recommend children under
the age of ten for this one.
I am giving "Jurassic World" three and a half bags of popcorn.
